You may have seen some of them. You may have some of them in your very own yard. You may even think some are tacky. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite yard and garden decorations that can be displayed year round. Add some personality and charm to your yard with some of our suggestions below.

The Yard Gnome: This guy compliments any yard decoration style. He can blend in whether he’s in the backyard or the front yard. Often designed and built for display outdoors, the color will not fade and the gnome will be durable through moderate weather. Gnomes are also known for their protection from evil sorcery.

Pink Yard Flamingo: Arguably the most famous lawn decoration out there. Create that tropical feel and bring some wildlife to your property. Simply stake their legs into the grass and they’ll stand proudly for all to see.

Bird Baths: Charming, classic and useful. Attract all species of birds to your yard and enjoy their song while they flutter happily in the water. Bird Baths are one of the most classic yard decorations and come in many different styles and heights to fit all yards and budgets. Just remember to keep the bath full with water.

Sundials: Tell the time the old fashioned way by tracking the position of the sun. The shadow the sun casts on the plate determines the time of day. There are a variety of styles for the presentation of the sundial and you can even customize it by putting it on your own pedestal. It’s sure to be a great conversation piece when entertaining and a great way for youngsters to learn about the past.

Wind Chimes: There’s nothing better than relaxing in your yard to the sounds of the chimes playing from a lazy breeze. They are cheap, easy to find and can be hung virtually anywhere. On the porch, from a tree or on a stake in the grass. Often they come in different and unique styles and can range from metal to wood creating different sounds. It can even double as a craft project to make your own wind chime.
